Thrifted Finds: Denim Edition

While the a good majority of fashion enthusiasts opted for the convenience of crowded malls and enticement created by the holiday season hullabaloo, I took a less jam-packed route to the thrift stores.

Ah, the joys of thrifting. These are 6 brand name jeans unearthed from two thrift stores. Purchased new, the jeans would range between $80 – $250. The thrift price range was between $2 – $14. I scored some pretty awesome variety as well, which means a break from the monotony of skinny jeans.

I am watching re-runs of the sitcom Friends. I might as well have taken the DKNY and Levi’s from Monica’s or Rachel’s closet. The mom cut was at the peak of fashion in the late 80’s through the 90’s. My favorite, of course, are the vintage Levis. I  just can’t decide which feature I like the most – the distinctive 80’s wash, the high waist or beautifully flattering wider cut.

  • I love the aesthetics of this video! May I ask what program you used to edit? And those jeans!!!!!!!

    • Hi love….Thanks so much….works of a learning amateur. I used Premier Pro. I’m in over my head but I am determined to figure it out fully. #2015goals 🙂

      • Editing video makes me want to drink full-time. haha… You are doing a beautiful job. Brava!

        • I hear you! I edited over two weeks because I would get stuck and frustrated. It’s a steep learning curve and I have just resolved to give it time. Of course a glass of wine here and there is extremely helpful in the process 🙂
