Pairing stripes, chevrons and checkered patterns (they are not really prints) sounds like way too much going on. Yet because all three are in basic black and white they effortlessly play nice together. This pairing worked so well that some people assumed this outfit was a dress as opposed to separates.
If you are wary of mixing prints, patterns especially in black and white contrast is a great place to start. Think polka dots, stripes, chevron, color block and abstract… pair within the same color family and you’ve got a statement outfit.
Ruby Woo lipstick by Mac Cosmetics is a blue undertone red that works on all skin tones. Its matte nature makes it wearable for day yet perfect for night too. I find it a little drying, probably because it is matte. Priming lips with a matte lip balm keeps my lips moisturized underneath. Ruby Woo is highly recommended.
