Leathery Effect

I used a leather jacket to add an edge to an otherwise simple outfit. I find a well placed leather jacket to be the perfect solution to contrast outfits that would be too feminine. Leather adds a rebel “don’t mess with me” attitude and it works whether paired with a t-shirt and jeans or a girly dress.

Wild card? pairing a leather jacket with an evening gown. The more the hardware, the better the effect.

Jacket: SheInside || Skirt: Mr. Price || Heels: Zara

  • The more the hardware, the better the effect:)Beautifully ensembled!

I have have an almost similar skirt the only difference is the print.I am still on a mission to find the perfect leather jacket. You slayed this look.

    • Thanks so much Soni. For the leather jacket, check SheInside.com. They have some really good faux leather ones. Time it so you nab a sale. They’ll ship for free but the downside is you have to pay tax for it in Kenya. If you get a sale, the tax will also be much lower. It worth a shot. 🙂

  • But that is a gorgoeus jacket! And those Zara heels – ohhhhh Zara. What shoe size are you? Also, I loveeeeeeee those pottee plants. Go forth and continue to be fierce !

    • I’m 7.5 US. I’ve had these for about 3 years. Got the at a sale for $39 #win. The poteee plants are cool, aren’t they? If only I could bring them back with me. Speaking of which, I’ll be back in a few. Some local tea, coming right up 😉 Hugs.

      • Shame, I have a pair of Zara heels that would have been perfect for you, but a whole size smaller. Thanks, you are the best!!!
